Long Island Radio Group OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

Sleepy’s/Universal Orlando Resort Family Getaway Contest

Rules updated as of 4/21/08

I.                     ELIGIBILITY.  No purchase is necessary to enter, and all contests on WKJY-FM, WBZO-FM, WMJC-FM, WHLI-AM, WRCN-FM and WLVG-FM, are open to all persons age 18 and over, unless otherwise specified in contest-specific rules.  Employees and families of Long Island Radio Group, its affiliates, other radio stations, record companies, and participating sponsors and their affiliates are not eligible.

II.                   GENERAL PRIZE INFORMATION.  One winner per household per thirty (30) days.  Winners of prizes valued at more than six hundred dollars ($600) must wait a total of six (6) months before becoming eligible to win additional prizes from WKJY-FM, WBZO-FM, WMJC-FM, WHLI-AM, WRCN-FM and WLVG-FM.  Qualifiers must reside or be employed within the geographic listening area of WKJY-FM, WBZO-FM, WMJC-FM, WHLI-AM, WRCN-FM and WLVG-FM.  Prize winners must present valid identification and proof of age to claim prize.  Winner is subject to state, local, and federal taxes where applicable.  If for any reason the winner is unable to utilize the prize on the dates given, subsequent draws will be made until a qualified winner is drawn.  Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitute prizes will be awarded under any circumstances.  Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.  Prizes may be claimed at least twenty-four (24) hours after winning, and within thirty (30) days, at 234 Airport Plaza Boulevard, Suite 5, Farmingdale, NY 11735.  Pick-up hours are Business Days, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.  In the event of any disagreement regarding contestants, winners or qualification of winners, or adequacy or value of the prize, the decision of Long Island Radio Group shall remain final.  All prizes will be awarded.  Prize winners must sign hold harmless and indemnity agreement, agreeing to hold WKJY-FM, WBZO-FM, WMJC-FM, WHLI-AM, WRCN-FM and WLVG-FM, its licensee, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest.  Void where prohibited.

III.                  RELEASE.  By entering a contest on WKJY-FM, WBZO-FM, WMJC-FM, WHLI-AM, WRCN-FM and WLVG-FM, each participant in the contest, including all winners, acknowledge that WKJY-FM, WBZO-FM, WMJC-FM, WHLI-AM, WRCN-FM and WLVG-FM and Long Island Radio Group will have the right to reproduce, publicize, and broadcast his or her name, likeness, and all matters incidental thereto without compensation.

IV.                CONTEST-SPECIFIC RULES.  All rules specific to individual contests are created by WKJY-FM, WBZO-FM, WMJC-FM, WHLI-AM, WRCN-FM and WLVG-FM Management, and its legal council if necessary.  Decision of Long Island Radio Group management with regard to rules, specifications, qualifiers, winners, and prizes, is final.  Each of the six (6) Grand Prize winners will receive:

1.      To Enter to win: all persons living in the Long Island geographic area can visit any Long Island Sleepy’s store location, beginning May 1, 2008 and ending May 31, 2008.

2.      Contestants must complete the provided entry blanks and submit it into the marked ballot boxes.

a.       There will be no Internet contesting, nor will there be any on-air contesting to qualify anybody to win. 

3.      Each Grand Prize winner will receive: round trip, coach class air transportation on Southwest Airlines, from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport to Orlando, Florida.  Winner will be responsible for ground transportation to/from the airport at point of origin.

a.       Airport transfers from round transportation to/from the airport in Orlando, Florida will be provided by Universal Orlando Resort.

4.      Hotel accommodations, room and tax only, for up to four (4) people in a maximum of one (1) room will be on-site at Universal Orlando Resort at the Hard Rock Hotel. 

a.       Winners will receive 3 nights’ accommodations in one (1) room with quad occupancy.

b.       Hotel accommodations do not include meals, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip.

5.      Four (4) complimentary 3-Day/2-Park Tickets for admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure.

NOTE: All Grand Prizes must be awarded by 6/6/08 and travel must be completed no later than 5/31/09.  Blackout dates or other restrictions may apply as dictated by airline and/or hotel.  Winner travel arrangements must be made a minimum of 60 days prior to winner travel and are subject to availability.  If winner is unable to fulfill prize during time period, winner forfeits the prize package.  Winner must be 21 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 21 years of age.  Trips are non-transferable and have no cash value.  All unclaimed and/or unused prize packages, , will remain the property of UO and may not be used as sales or trade incentive for employees of Long Island Radio Group, their agencies or clients.  Winner and guests must travel at the same time and must depart from the same city.

              *Airfare and ground transportation portions of the prize package are void if Grand Prize winner resides in Florida.  Winner will instead receive two (2) complimentary UO parking passes.

V.                  These are the official contest rules of WKJY-FM, WBZO-FM, WMJC-FM, WHLI-AM, WRCN-FM and WLVG-FM.  These rules may be subject to change without notice if necessary to comply with the Telecommunications Act of 1996, rules and regulations of the FCC, or any applicable law.
